Fed still hasn't broke Roddick, and they just started the fifth set

This is an insane serving clinic. Whoever wins it will be deserved, but really Roddick probably deserves it more. He's been playing better than Federer this match.

Roddick had the match won in the 2nd set when he had 6-1 tiebreak lead.
Fed went on to win the next 7 to take the set. :disgust:

15-14 Fed and has another chance to break Roddick. Can he finally do it to win his record 15th Major.

That was an amazing match. Amazing doesn't do it justice either though. It was a tour de force of serving. Roger had 50 aces. Andy hadn't been broken the whole match till that championship point. It's too bad someone had to lose and you hear that during some matches but this one is perfect example of it. One going for his first wimbledon, first grand slam title in years and just proving that he's a contender again while the other of course we know Roger's story.

I hope now that Roger has 15, that either Roddick or Rafa take the US Open. That second set tiebreak will not be one that Roddick youtubes.

Dementieva lost already. That's a bummer. She's like the only one who can beat a Williams sister. But that Oudin girl looks a future star anyways, she's 17 and made the 4th round at Wimbledon beating Jankovic and then she does this

edit - I forgot Sharapova was back... I guess she can beat a Williams too

check out maria sharapova.

i'm rooting for her up to a point but check her out if you can. she has this shiny headband and her outfit looks nice. her hair looks especially golden.

Venus looked nice yesterday, but now she's going to be up against Clijsters. I think that match is a u pickem.

Nadal and Kiefer had a sharp match after that first set drubbing. Nadal looked completely different without his normal attire but it was nice to see him making his curving forehand shot again.

How the heck did Andy lose to a 6'9" player?

I was happy for Melanie Oudin. She played well today but Maria did give her so many free points with those double faults and not being consistent with the 1st serve.

Facing Isner or Karlovic is always tough, if they are on and you have a lapse for a few seconds a set, you're done. Which is what happened to Andy today. A shame, I would have liked to see Andy get to the semi's. None of the top seeds played particularly well today.

I agree. She was pouncing on those balls with great power.

What a way to end a match. I've never seen anything like it anywhere, let alone at a major championship's semi.

That's what a rain delay can do to you I guess. He was spraying balls all over the place.

On another note, these last two days of play have been ridiculous and I think they need to put a freaking roof over one of the courts so matches can be played JIC.

Secondly, I was more impressed with the 6-0 0-6 start to the Clijsters Venus match. I'd never seen that before.

Finally, I hope the men's final is in primetime too now that it's been moved to Monday, or is Tuesday now since the ladies are scheduled for the semis on Sunday.
