Re: WOKJ NBA Fantasy League 11/12 (Drafted!)
damn ty Lawson was the one player I didn't want you to pick up...a couple minutes ago before you picked him up I even emailed others to pick him up since he's such an incredible player, even worth it as a keeper
yeah Aldridge injury is major luck swing for me, besides being such a great player for you, but also his injury allowed my hickson to have a great night
good luck, will be a fun and competitive last couple of days

Re: WOKJ NBA Fantasy League 11/12 (Drafted!)
Dropping Ty for Bradley was my 1 big mistake of the year. Got greedy cause Bradley was a starter and they played 5 games this week, but should have just kept Ty and I would have 1 more pickup I could make if needed. Oh well
And yea having Hickson fall into your lap as the new starter in place of Aldridge is like a double whammy for me

Re: WOKJ NBA Fantasy League 11/12 (Drafted!)
Nope, kinda crazy! Traded most of them away and dropped the rest
Reflecting on the 10 trades I made during the year: 1. Manu + Chris Paul for Bynum + Wade, both Manu and wade injured too much so really is Paul for Bynum which isn't too good of a trade even though Bynum became a stud 2. KG for Sessions, horrible trade, Sessions did not have value until late in the season when he was on Lakers, while KG became a stud esp. when O'Neal had season ending injury. 3. David Lee for Ryan Anderson, not good trade for playoffs this year due to Anderson's injury, but may be good for keeper purposes 4. Dwayne Wade for Greg Monroe, ok trade since Wade is injured again when it matters most 5. Elton Brand for Jason Terry, very bad trade as well esp. since Spencer Hawes never fully recovered 6. Ricky Rubio for Rajon Rondo, best trade ever, especially since Rubio went down like a few games after while Rondo is going crazy during playoffs 7. Carmelo Anthony for Jeremy Lin, worst trade ever. Lin's play started to suffer then got injured, while Anthony went from negative liability to a stud again after new coach/system, Lin's injury, and Amare's injury. 8. Kyle Lowry for Mike Conley, great only because Lowry became injured otherwise Conley deteriorated a lot in assists, points, and steals (was #1 in league when traded for him). 9. Ryan Anderson for Andre Iguodala, good tade for this year since Anderson is a fail this week, but Anderson better keeper value 10. Drew Gooden for Manu Ginobili, wash this year since both were liabilities/injury/rest during playoffs, but Gooden has better keeper value.

All 4 matchups this week are either 6:5 or 5:5 going into Saturday; pretty crazy.

Great match man, the FG% got extremely close, so I was relieved to barely pull through at the end. Can't wait for next year!

Congrats Alex, you were from start to finish the dominating player this year.
Does anyone know whether Yahoo archives this league? If not we should either nominate keepers now or keep a record of everyones team for next season.
In any case: this is the draft order 1. Bollywood Heaven 2. A Smurf of their Own 3. A Curse becometh You 4. Two ans a Half Wins 5. Professor McMeowski 6. How's My Dirk Taste 7. White Men Can't Jump 8. Xiayun 9. Pure Animosity 10. alexcuse

Re: WOKJ NBA Fantasy League 11/12 (Drafted!)
Grats again Alex...I "think" if I had sat Joe Johnson (.167%) I might have made it closer yea it keeps track of the league. I can pull up my fantasy football team from 7 years ago still. How many keepers again ? FYI I picked up Aldridge this morning, I wont use him as a keeper no worries, I was just seeing if Yahoo would still allow pickups after the season was over, and they did for some reason

Are you able to choose both Wade and Durant since you only have one 1st round pick?

are trades going to be allowed before we decide on new keepers? for instance I may be willing to trade my first round pick for his second round pick in exchange for better mid round picks
or maybe someone has multiple potential keepers in his team that could be traded to another team for better draft picks.

Alex Y. wrote: Are you able to choose both Wade and Durant since you only have one 1st round pick? in most leagues if you trade for a keeper there are usually 2 options. the comish names a round all trades or Free agents count in the draft or you lose the next round down from your trade if you have a previous keeper in that round, so I would lose my 1st and 2nd in that case....looking like ill keep Melo tho if he finishes the season on this tear hes on speaking of, which round will count as the free agent pickup round ? Like if Jeremy Lin hadnt gone down he was a FA pickup so if someone had kept him which round would it have counted for? or maybe someone has multiple potential keepers in his team that could be traded to another team for better draft picks. i think all trades had to have been done before the season ended for yahoo to keep track of everything for next year as there is a chart with draft picks for next year, of course the comish can always change things manually

Re: WOKJ NBA Fantasy League 11/12 (Drafted!)
default schedule is better, avoid the stars sitting out randomly at end of year due to playoff shots clinched and nothing to play for, then there would be harder decisions between keeping players such as Durant and wade for next year or dropping them for a player who's actually active
