GSW one two of their three games without BD and Murphy ( actually only have about 9 healthy players right now ), all against teams over .500, the one they lost ( Memphis ) really just showed how the whole season has been going for them and the reason why they arent a great team yet, they cant close out games. Almost every game they've lost in Jan & Feb have been very close and alot of times they were leading in that 4th quarter, for some reason they just hit a wall in the 4th quarter alot of times, they're a young and stupid team, I dont think Montgomery is a good coach for them, they dont need some coach that came out of college they need a vet.

I think the injuries have been a good thing in a way, made the other players step up their game because they know this isnt time to slack off, if they wanna make the playoffs they need to play the best they can.

It's got to be frustrating to be a GSW fan! They always seem like they're just a hair away from being a good team. They just can NOT win those close games... recent close losses to San Antonio, Memphis, and LA Lakers come to mind. I think they're done this year... they've got a shitload of away games coming up and I don't see them getting back to .500 with a schedule like that. They really do need an extra piece - although losing that many close games would definitely suggest a coaching problem.

As for my team (Detroit)... I was happy they finally unloaded Darko and Carlos Arroyo. Darko wasn't going anywhere with them, and I always thought Arroyo was erratic. Lindsey Hunter is back from injury, and he's a ton better than Arroyo. I doubt the person they traded for (Cato) will play for the Pistons, but by getting him they free up a lot of cap money and can resign Ben Wallace at the end of the year... the 2007 1st round draft pick will also come in handy. Joe Dumars is a genius.

Very frustrating, last year I wasnt because they werent a good team at all so I didnt expect much, this year though they showed signs of quality and it's sad that they might fall short. The coach seems not laid back but not really a pusher, doesnt push his team. For example their free throws havnt been getting better and thats one thing that hurts them ALOT!!! I mean sure they beat Clippers but they missed over 10 free throws in the games and shot around 25, that is just not acceptable. What happens in these games like when they lost to Lakers and such is not that the other team wins the game it's that Warriors lose it, they find a way to fuck things up.

Warriors tend to do pretty damn well in the last part of the season, so hopefully that trend continues. Really the 6-8 spot are open, I dont know how long Hornets will be hot and Memphis is showing weakness. Lakers are starting to look like shit, so I think they're out. Jazz or Warriors are gonna get the last spot.

Eh, it was boring. They started with the dunks and other crazy plays to early it totally took the crowd out of it later on since they saw all they wanted to already, you dont just make every other play analleyoop, that gets boring if you overdue it, it didnt help that the point guards cant even pass the ball.

sweet, Cavs got Flip Murray and Lee Nailon for basically nothing. Traded 3rd string PG Mike Wilks for Murray and a conditional draft pick for Nailon. Murray is no Larry Hughes, but he can score and is going to be a great compliment to Sasha Pavlovic until Hughes comes back. Nailon played well when he was briefly with the Cavs a couple years ago, and provides a nice rebounding presence off the bench. I love these two trades. They weren't flashy but the Cavs got better for basically nothing.

but will it be enough? I was hoping we could dump Snow, Gooden, or Jones and get an actual starting guard.

Well Washington is over .500 now so we should be able to beat them. Then we'll beat the Pistons twice and lose to the Bobcats or some shit like that.

Only in Cleveland could a superstar like LeBron James miss 7 consecutive free throws. Hell, if MJ played here during the prime of his career, he'd peobably choke in the clutch too....gotta love being a Cleveland sports fan

It's getting kind of pathetic in the NBA when guys that are getting paid millions cant make freakin free throws. Warriors 50% at the line yesterday, thats f'in pathetic. Dunleavy needs to shoot himself.

Oh, I forgot to laugh at Golden State too. It's fun to watch all of your favorite teams go down in flames.

Pistons are 47-9, 15 1/2 games ahead of Cleveland, and 11 games ahead of the next best in the division (Miami). They need to create a new super NBA league for Detroit, Dallas, and San Antonio as it's like watching an NBA team take on a high school teams when these 3 play the rest of the league!

that would happen anywhere. i guarantee if kobe bryanyt missed 7 ft's in a row in a close game he'd get booed too. as much as i like james, he deserved it that night. besides, it was more a booing of the whole team, not just james

No way! That stuff happens frequently in the league (stars missing MANY shots, poor team performances in close games) and the hometown fans rarely - almost never - boo the stars (or team). I've never heard Pistons fans boo any of their players that I can ever remember - and I've been a rabid fan since the Bad Boys days in the 80's. Rasheed Wallace goes through his 1 for 13 games every once in a while, but the fans will still shout "Shhheeeed" whenever he gets the ball. Kobe is another example of someone that will go stone cold at times, but I have never heard him booed at home - even though he is a serial rapist and a massive ball hogging idiot.

Booing Lebron - even if he missed 20 free throws in a row - is insane. That guy singlehandedly wins 90% of Cleveland's games. You have to allow him to have an off night, or off quarter!

THATS NOTHING!!! Warriors were down 20 pts in the 3rd quarter came back in the 4th quarter, Jason Richardson fell on his ankle kept on playing and still drained all his shots, we went up. We missed 5 of the last 8 free throws, we were still up with around 10secs left or whatever Dunleavy doesnt hit his free throw we are up 3 instead of 4 now, 4secs left Coach MontDUMBASS decides to let the Jazz who are hot at 3 point shooting in this game shoot a 3 instead of foul and make them shoot 2, Jazz bank the shot in and we go to overtime and lose. Now that deserves booing and I heard the fans really let Dunleavy have it and he dropped an F Bomb.

Good thing that came out of this is that we saw how great the young players like Monte Ellis and Andris Biedrins are, them and JR got us back into the game. Dunleavy needs to go, Foyle needs to go, but guess what management Mr. Chris Mullen decided to give these dissapointing players HUGE contracts, we should've did some trade to get Artest, give Indiana Murphy and whoever for him, it would've been worth it, and we MUST get rid of Mike Montgomery, he is a college coach and will always be a college coach, he doesnt belong in the NBA he has no freakin idea what he's doing and a college coach should never ever coach a young NBA team, completely stupid.

Well, booing Dunleavy is ok... GSW fans actually want him to leave (understandably so). But, booing your superstar is just not smart... you'll make him less likely to stay, and less likely to draw in other big names. I seriously can not think of another time a hometown team booed a player on Lebron's level for anything.

And, GSW are really sucking it up hard. The battle for the last playoff position in the west is pretty ugly. I think I have a shot at getting it, and I don't have a team.

he's had too many off nights from the line and in the clutch, and Cleveland fans are already frustrated enough. Let's see Detroit go through 36 years of losing and then see if they still decide not to boo Sheed, because at least he helped them to a title. They have 3 titles in the last 18 years, so a few bad games won't bother their fans as much as it will bother a team's fans who have seen nothing but frustration. you have to see it through our shoes before calling us silly to boo him. and like i said, they weren't booing lebron directly. the whole team played like shit and turned the ball over countless times in the clutch in that game. but the media hears us boo on a night where lebron played badly and they immediately think we've turned on the guy.
