Anybody watch that Oregon UCLA game?

I caught a few minutes then switched to the Apprentice and when I switched back it was 38-3 or something, so I quit watching.

What I took away from the game though is that teams like Boise and TCU need to do exactly what Oregon did if they want to maintain their position. Oregon didn't need to score 60 points last night but they did and that will undoubtedly continue to reinforce to voters that they should be #1. It's nice that Boise blew out San Jose and TCU only gives up 3 points last week but they need to be destroying people so the voter can say..."wow, they just destroyed that opponent!"

Style points count in the Coaches and Harris so they need to take advantage of it and stop easing up in games that are blowouts by halftime.

I want Boise to continue play like they do. Blow the opponent away in the first half, then put in the scrubs to give them playing time. Just because the BCS is some dipshit organisation who wants teams to show off and embarass others, doesn't mean you have to be classless. Boise will never get a chance for a national title game so they might as well maintain class and style. Good for them!

I'm interested in the BCS rankings but not so much now. Boise can't get above #3 w/o the teams below them not playing a big game and winning or the teams above them not losing.

I'm more interested in how the Coaches and Harris voting plays out. Will they hang on to #2 or will they fall to #4. Where will Mizzou and MI St end up and where will TCU go.

As for OU being down, I don't think they are down. Now they haven't won most of their games spectacularly but they did win them. Their problem is their defense just fails them as the game goes along and it finally caught up with them. Plus, Stoops has had trouble with road games the past few years.

I'll be hoping that Auburn trips up on the road somewhere otherwise you'd have to hope that the SEC winner comes from one of those 2 loss teams. I still think Oregon is going to lose somewhere, so I don't care where they are ranked and the same with MI St.

why wouldn't Auburn be number 1? They beat the #6 team. Auburn has played a tougher schedule than both Boise State and TCU.

So when Alabama thumps Auburn, I'm assuming Alabama will jump Boise and be #2.

i wish we had a better system, I wish we had a playoff but if you ask me who deserves it more an undefeated Boise team or a 1 loss Alabama team. I'd say Alabama.

I say a team that only has 1 loss against a schedule of Penn State, Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina, LSU, Mississippi State, & Auburn

Mississippi state and arkansas are both ranked higher than Virginia Tech. Penn State & Florida both have better records than Oregon State.

South Carolina is ranked in the top 25.
