 Re: NHL 2008-2009 Season
I guess it was too much to hope that we could win two shootouts in a row.

 Re: NHL 2008-2009 Season
Ovechkin woke up last night, even though the Caps lost.
Is there a better offensive force in the NHL?

 Re: NHL 2008-2009 Season
Bruins now first in Eastern Conference with two games in hand on the Rangers. Hopefully the Savard injury isn't a serious one though. If they lose him for an extended period of time they can probably forget about being a Top 3 team in the East.

The Habs seriously suck. They're the worst team ever. Forget anything good I've ever said about them. Seriously. HABS SUCK.
Peace, Mike

What a night in the league, but of course the Oilers have to bring the suck.

Well that was one of the most embarrassing games I've witnessed.
I expect heads will roll soon.

 Re: NHL 2008-2009 Season
Toronto-Ottawa-Edmonton are destined to go 1-2-3 in the lottery this year. In that order. So I get Tavares and you get screwed.

 Re: NHL 2008-2009 Season
Burke's basically confirmed as the next GM of the Leafs. Though they probably won't announce until Saturday.
I doubt he's going to be the miracle worker the Toronto media is making him out to be. His success in Anaheim was mostly Bryan Murray's doing. And he's just a media whore blowhard. Making him a perfect fit for the Leafs.
Oh how I hope he runs the team into the ground.

 Re: NHL 2008-2009 Season
I'm really liking the Bruins third jersey. It's a mix of the 80's/90's road jersey and the old 30's jersey. I wasn't the biggest fan of it at first but it works on the ice.
