 Re: March Madness 2008
Clemson can win this game if they stop just shooting 3's. They need to go inside where they have a huge size advantage.

 Re: March Madness 2008
Kind of expected Siena to win. Vandy just wasn't as good as the #4 seed would have you believe. Disappointing that there still hasn't been a 16-1 upset. That would be awesome to see.
Nice to see San Diego win but if Brandon Johnson isn't 100% for the next game, they'll have trouble.

 Re: March Madness 2008
DUKE IS OUT. (This kills my bracket, obviously, but it kills everyone's...heh) PS: Animosity Reigns - nice call. I called WVA beating Duke in my Facebook bracket, but everything else is going wrong there, so...

 Re: March Madness 2008
We just don't have great athletic players any more, after the class of Jason Williams, Dunleavy, and Boozer. They are all mostly role players and 3-point shooters who can't create shots for himself. The home court, friendly scheduling, and past reputation inflate the record and ranking, and then we constantly get exposed in the tournament.

Sorry xiayun. Eagle's the only guy left in the challenge who can still root for his own college. Down with Pitt!

 Re: March Madness 2008
Wisconsin's defense doesn't look top-notch right now. They're letting KS turn this into a possession-based game.
On the other hand, what's with the three-point shooting? Wisconsin - offensively - is channeling Kansas.

Xavier's looking like a Vietnam Veterans basketball squad.
Speed it up, boys! The Elite Eight is yours for the taking!

 Re: March Madness 2008
yeah lol, I was expecting Wisconsin to play a slow tight defensive game after what I'd heard about them coming in, then they came in and looked like the Golden State Warriors in the first half. Buckled down a bit after though (especially on Beasley). I like them quite a bit.
I'm surprised Kansas State wasn't higher ranked/better, that Bill Walker guy is a player too. You'd think with that combo alone, they could be at least a 6 or 7 seed or something. Though I guess college isn't as much about the big guns as it is the team as a whole.
Duke looked awful.

 Re: March Madness 2008
I wasn't surprised with Duke since they looked so poorly against Belmont. Xavier should make it to the Elite 8 and could give UCLA a lot of trouble.

 Re: March Madness 2008
My brackets are officially crap, now with Pitt losing to Michigan State. Which pretty much means Memphis is in the Elite Eight. Why not go all the way, and let A&M beat UCLA, for the upset of the century. That would (likely) mean Xavier in the final four. Texas A&M is playing a great game. I remember why I had them in my Final Four last year now. Too bad they lost second round...

No. 2 seeds are having all sorts of trouble closing out the game.

And Curry is just insane! Unbelievable how quickly he releases the ball.
