 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Don't like that Bears vs. Chargers game. To watch Grossman is just terrible and that San Diego can't capitalise from it is even worse.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
It's more the Bears defense than anything else. They've been dominant, although it looks like they're going to let SD sneak a TD in here.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
If that non-call ends up deciding the game, the Chargers can't blame the officials. They could only blame themselves for not being able to score a point.

It's not only the TD that the bad call cost the chargers. Don't underestimate the demotivating factor of it. If that game end 3-0 the refs are to blame for that. And that's a very bad thing in times where NBA refs are scalping game.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
Let me put it this way. If the Chargers don't score off of this extremely lucky break, then they don't deserve to win. Besides, even if they didn't get that break, if they felt "demotivated" because of that play, then they should just leave the field. Not everyone is going to catch a break............and yet they just did.

First td of the Chargers season is a pass from LT to AG.

Chargers up 14-3. Oh wait. That wipes out the call.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
I hope FOX cuts into the Oakland/Detroit game once this is over. That actually looks like it might turn out to have a decent finish despite it being the two worst teams in football.

 Re: 2007 NFL Discussion
And I disagree: The worst teams in football are probably Tampa Bay and after today's performance the Falcons (with a Giants meltdown lurking later)
