I´m not sure... I know it sounds amazing (and shameful) but being so close, I know nothing of portuguese football apart form the fact that only 3 teams seem to win everything (Sporting, Porto and Benfica) and that spanish coaches don´t seem to do that well there.
In short: I couldn´t distingish a mid-table team from a relagation one the way I can do in Spain, Italy and England... or think I can.

no shame at all, besides the 3 major teams, only Braga, Boavista and Guimaraes are good.
but i'll tell ya one thing , the Portuguese is better then the Italian, football quality wise .

I´ll trust you on that. Then again, anything is more entertaining than italian football.

Uhh, no. The Italian league is the strongest and most tactical in the world in my opinion. It might not be the most fun to watch, but it's the strongest.
Anyway I'm not going to participate in a Portuguese league competition as I know absolutely nothing about the teams there so I suggest we just keep the competitions seperate (i.e. an English competition, a Spanish competition, a Portuguese competition, etc.)..

Oh come on, you cant really say its the most boring. Seriously.
It's at the moment the best league in the world, surpassing La Liga maybe 1-2 seasons ago.

I completely agree with you, but I have to add something.
2 years ago, EPL was the most entertaining, strongest, and toughest. But since Abramovich took over Chelsea, it became really boring (anyway it's definitely not the most boring, the French league wins that title hands down) as there is no real competition. I guess Arsenal and Man U will be really lucky if they can be 15 points away from Chelsea by the end of the season.

its not because of Abramovich, its because of Jose Mourinho, he is a god training teams , its not his fault that the other coachs cant beat him .

Well, Mourinho would have never trained Chelsea in the first place if he wasn't given all that money by Abramovich
Murinho is great coach, but IMO a team with Lampard, Robben, Duff, Terry, Cole, Drogba and Crespo,... can win the EPL without even having a coach.

Can you post Marco Van Basten's goal in Russia in the final of the 1988 Europe Championship?

Ok, do people want to predict the portuguese league as well? If we are not convinced, there is always the chance of doing one portuguese match every week, to round out the number of predicted matches to ten.. kind of like a bonus.

Thanks a lot guti, it's an awesome goal indeed.
I have another request, if you don't mind, Bergkamp's goal in Argentina in world cup 1998, the quarter final match that ended 2-1 for Netherlands.

I agree that Italian while the strongest is really boring to watch. Spanish is entertaining.
(Almost) Never watched Portuguese. Jzst know a couple of teams.
What about Bundesliga (German)? They're getting better recently (just like the national team of Germany). Anyone dares to predict them?

I refute that, Mourinho with a couple of unknown players won UEFA Cup, and the champions league with FC Porto, he proved more than once that he can do wonders with "no Stars" players; when he went to FC Porto he was training Uniao de Leiria , and he left the team in 2nd place in the middle of the championship. So i can assume he really is THAT good.
