Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread Bullshit game, lost respect for both teams, and although Spain won, they are hardly champions. I'd have said the same thing if the Netherlands won. The guy who kicked the Spanish player in the chest should have been red carded immediately and kicked out of the game, but that actual red card for the other Dutch player was not deserved, and the Spanish player who scored faked his way into getting Netherlands another yellow.
I'm just happy this is over, and very, VERY happy that Diego Forlan and Thomas Mueller won their awards. Forlan was the best thing about this whole tournament, and he represents the best of this often rotten sport. The Dutch and Spanish should take lessons from him.
