This is a really good article from Fitzgerald the Warriors announcer on how he'd seed the playoffs/conferences to avoid things like this series
http://aol.nba.com/warriors/interactive ... une07.html
Unfortunatley I don't see it going to a 16 team bracket anytime soon, but look at how friggin GREAT this bracket looks... awesome matchups all around.
Simmons is interview podcasting Stern today... oh my. Here's a set-up article where he takes Fitzgerald's ideas and adds a few things, like Detroit being #2 for winning the conference and some thoughts on getting rid of tanking while they're at it

Silly goose. There is no King in Cleveland. Queen is reigning there.

Spurs are kinda good eh. Ginobli won that 4th quarter btw. I actually for the first time find myself liking San Antonio.
Oh and the Raptors got Carlos Delfino... I'm pretty sure we're by far the most european sports organization in America. I'm not jumping up and down in my chair for this guy, but for only second round draft picks... not bad. I'd like it more if he plays backup to someone legitimate like Grant Hill(A lofty wish... he likes us) at the 3 spot though.

None of them are dynasties.
As Popovich himself said, when you are talking about dynasties, talk about UCLA or Bill Russell's Celtics. None of others should be talked about as dynasties.
But for you. They are now equal in my opinion.

I def. agree that the Spurs aren't a dynasty for the reason that the 99 team is totally different than the 07 one. Duncan is just one of the best and will always be a winner.

Duncan for me...while not having stats to support him...he's the #1 player after Michael Jordan. And, different as I might be, I love, just love watching him play basketball. Atleast he knows *how* to play it.
