 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
I heard Minnesota turned down Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson and the #1 pick for Love. They have to try and make at least one run with a healthy Love and Rubio. I can't see them taking another Boston poo-poo platter for another star forward.
Chicago had a .017 chance of getting Derrick Rose and yet the hometown hero wound up there anyways. Things have a way of working out for the big franchises.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Also Green may have had a breakout season, but lets not forget that he had heart surgery the season before that. It would have to be Green and Rondo, and at that point why would Boston even bother?

Bledsoe to the Suns for Dudley and Reddick. I like the deal for both teams, but I bet L.A. wanted to unload Deandre Jordan with Bledsoe.

Good deal for the Suns, but I'm gonna miss Dudley

And Atlanta could still lose Smith and Teague. If that happens, Detroit, Toronto and my Cavs could all make the playoffs with sub .500 records.

Brad Stevens hired as Celtics coach.
Great hire, IMO.

Houstin wins.
Apparently Asik wants out now. We'll take him in Cleveland!

Great move for the Rockets if Howard's back holds up.

So, you willingly take on a bad contract AND help another team in your conference (who you were only 4 games behind) become MUCH better. Retarded move.
RJ and Biedrins are 1 yr deals, so Utah is basically just rolling over this capspace until next summer when they're more inclined to use it - but they had to spend it on something this summer cause they were like 20 mil+ under the team minimum salary. Getting 2 1sts is still valuable and they also got Rush who hits 40% from 3 and is good defensively which makes him a usable starter, so it's like 3 1sts since I think Rush is worth one. Also pretty sure UTA wants Burke, Burks, Hayward, Favors and Kanter getting as many minutes as they can get next year and the top 10 pick that comes with it, which they couldn't do the last few years because veterans like Millsap, Jefferson, Mo Williams, etc. were on the team. So if UTA went and spent their money on Kevin Martin and taking Andrew Bogut or something, they'd still have established players blocking the younger ones from really taking over the team

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
As expected, Dwight was as annoying as possible with his "decision" today. But Rockets was the best move for him.
Iggy to Golden State is a huge move. Serious threat next season.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Forty wins might be good enough for the sixth seed in the East. Detroit definitely bought themselves a playoff spot if everyone stays healthy.

I was surprised the Lakers played well. But it was only one game.

Sixers can't even tank properly.
But that said: awesome win tonight. MCW looks great.

Andrew Bynum! Only played like five minutes but it sure was great to see him out there. And the Cavs took out one of the best teams in the East. I'm very excited about this season!

Can't believe they're starting the season 3-0 with wins over Heat and Bulls.

I expect it to end every night going forward. Especially tomorrow against Golden State. But then again, I went to the Sixers game last night expecting a blowout...

Celtics won again. The teams are certainly not trying to tank, it seems, except for Jazz I guess.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Pacers does look like the best team so far. Best point differentials, least points allowed, and Paul George has taken his game to another level. I could see them staying undefeated through November.
