The official College Football discussion thread!!!
Notre Dame is not looking good at all. USC is looking ok, but they are obviously not as good as they were last year.
Let this thread be where we all discuss college football.

Notre Dame with the big comeback. Looked great on both sides of the ball in the second half. First half was painful to watch but we got it together in the end. Darius Walker gets the gold star for the game. Now back to South Bend to beat up on Penn State!!

Being in Oklahoma I was extremely disappointed with what I saw in the OU Uab game. 24-17 win on your homefield isn't going to cut it, but maybe they'll progress as the seasons rolls along.
Cal has no chance at the national title now. Apparently that was Lee Corso's misguided choice.
USC looks like it hasn't skipped a beat.
Notre Dame did a find job winning a tough one on the road but now they play Penn State next. I wonder if that's in SB or HV?

USC looked great. For it being their first game without Bush, White, and Leinert and also only having 4 starters returning on Offense, they played amazing. If they get it togethor and continue to progress, maybe another title will come their way, only thing stopping them is Notre Dame.

I'd be more concerned about Oregon than Notre Dame at this point.

Not at all.
I wouldn't call picking them to upset a highly overrated ND team at home "trumping them up".
Oregon looked really, really impressive yesterday. They were scary good.

Highly overrated my ass. They beat a good GT team on the road in the first game of the year. GT beat Auburn and Miami last year. You calling them overrated too. ND shut down Calvin Johnson and the entire GT offense in the second half. Our defense looked awesome in the second half last night. Don't let your bias get in the way of seeing that ND played very good football in the second half.

just like notre dame was lucky to escape GT. at least texas is ranked number 3....errmm....actually you can probably make that number 2 once they leapfrog ND and let's see how notre dame does at penn state next week.

Ohhh #4 in the nation. So sad about that. Too bad we'll be back up to #2 or 3 when Texas or OSU loses.

Texas has about a 1% chance to beat OSU.
The only teams that have a good chance of beating OSU is Notre Dame or Michigan.
