Here you go, Cyn
The Patriots will make the playoffs just because their division is weak and their schedule left is pretty easy. 8-8 probably will be enough for the division crown

Thank you, I am to late to do predictions, but I sitll want to talk football.
Yes, we lucky to be surrounded by teams who suck suck suck, so e can make the playoffs, but the injuries are killing our defense, especialyl so many of them season ending injuries.
I wouldn;t mind them struggling, but their inability to put up back to back wins in not good. Its interesting to see both superbowl teams having pretty bad seasons. What a difference a year can make.

soo sexy seeing a girl talk football.
if it wasn't for injuries and personal changes the PATS would've won another superbowl.
3 in a row. lol too bad.
what if the Broncos pick up Owens (god i hope not) y'all think they be favored to go all the way?

In my family, football is a religion, Superbowl Sunday are holiday.
I hope they don't pick him up, he's just going to being a cancer cell to whatever team he goes to.

The Pats will barely make the playoffs, then they'll pull off another Superbowl out of nowhere.

Oh, how I pray and tel myself that everyday, that they will find a way like always. The one thing baout the strugggles this seaosn is it makes the victories mean more, last year I expected them to come and dominate and anything less was unexceptable.

As the year goes on, the Patriots will slowly be getting some of their injured players back. Seymour returned last week, Dillion will probably come back this week (Though probably won't have an impact for a week, unless he is at 90%).
Here is the current list of Patriots players who are questionable for this game.
Tom Ashworth
Monty Beisel
Troy Brown
Corey Dillon
Tim Dwight
David Givens
Daniel Graham
Jarvis Green
Patrick Pass
James Sanders
Chances are extremely slim, but let's say they get five of the ten back this week against the Saints. The Saints are almost scrubs to begin with, so it's not like the Patriots will have to exert a lot of energy this weekend. They're probably better off resting a few of the higher names on that list. However, within the next couple of weeks, unless there are some setbacks, all of those players should be back.
Now if they can get anyone off on injured reserve for the playoffs, they might have a shot to go far, even if they have a mediocre regular season record. All they have to do is win the AFC East, and they get a home playoff game. A longer postseason might actually benefit them because it will take some time for some of those injuries. I guarantee you, if Rodney Harrison, Randall Gay, and Tyrone Poole are close to even 70%, they'll play in the playoffs. I'd also be willing to risk that that is all they would need to go far.
That's of course the perfect scenario though. However, once they get the questionable guys back, along with Matt Light, and Dan Koppen, they might go on a little run. The 11-5 Patriots of course won the Super Bowl in 2001. Why not a 10-6?

In their division, they'll make it to the playoffs easily.
Ahh, I remember hearing every single analyst saying that the NFC North Division was completely sorry and doesnt even deserve to have a team in the playoffs. Well, you know what? Screw off, assholes. Havent even said anything about the Patriot's division, which might actually be worse. Don't hear them talking about how no one in THAT division deserves to make the playoffs!
/rant off I like the Patriots!
Go Bears!

Hey next year, when we're facing an easy schedule with Reggie Bush and Walker back we'll see who has the big grin.

No doubt, but right now it's very funny. Hopefully Favre will squeak out one more year in him.

I'm telling you, the Pack finishing 9-7 would not surprise me. Just you wait and see.

The Broncos picking up Owens would be the dumbest thing a team ever did. They're a rushing team, Owens would have no production and within a few weeks he would complain and complain. From the team's philosophy Owens would fit best in Indianapolis (no need for him there) or Green Bay (might be an option)

Irvin says drug paraphernalia wasn't his
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=A ... &type=lgns
DALLAS (AP) -- Former Dallas Cowboys receiver Michael Irvin was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after Plano police officers searched his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Irvin, an ESPN analyst and semifinalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, told The Associated Press late Sunday that the drug pipe found in his car belonged to a friend of 17 years who left a Houston rehab center and came to Irvin's house in Carrollton for Thanksgiving. Irvin wouldn't reveal his friend's name.
Irvin said he put the pipe in his car because he didn't want it in his house where his children might find it. He said he planned to drive somewhere the next day, like a grocery trash bin, and throw the pipe away but forgot.
 there goes his espn career.

Eagles file tampering complaint against Cowboys
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=A ... &type=lgns
NEW YORK (AP) -- The Philadelphia Eagles have filed a tampering complaint against the Dallas Cowboys after Dallas owner Jerry Jones suggested on a radio show that his team is often interested in players such as suspended wide receiver Terrell Owens.
"In general, I am a risk-taker. We've gone down that road," Jones said when asked if the Cowboys might be interested in Owens. "I probably have a propensity to try and make things work. ... A top receiver could flourish with Drew Bledsoe. That's always appealing."'
NFL spokesman Michael Signora confirmed Sunday the Eagles filed the complaint over Jones' remark and said "the matter is under review."

Fan Says He Dumped Ashes on Eagles' Field
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051129/ap_ ... hes_arrest
PHILADELPHIA - A man arrested for running onto the field during the Philadelphia Eagles' game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday told police he was spreading his late mother's ashes. Christopher Noteboom, of Tempe, Ariz., ran onto the field holding a plastic bag, leaving a cloud of fine powder behind.
As he reached the 30-yard line, he dropped to his knees, made the sign of the cross and laid down on his stomach. Security personnel reached him moments later and he offered no resistance as he was escorted from the field.
The 44-year-old Noteboom, a native of Doylestown, said his mother died of emphysema in January 2005, shortly before the Eagles' Super Bowl appearance.
"She never cared for any other team except the Eagles," Noteboom told WPVI-TV after he was released from custody Monday. "I know that the last handful of ashes I had are laying on the field, and will never be taken away. She'll always be part of Lincoln Financial Field and of the Eagles."
Noteboom, a bar owner in Arizona, was charged with defiant trespass. He has a hearing scheduled for Dec. 27.
"It's bizarre, but we have a zero tolerance for people who run on the field," Police Inspector William Colarulo said. "We especially have a zero tolerance for people who run onto the field and dump an unknown substance in a stadium full of people."
Eagles spokeswoman Bonnie Grant said the team has declined requests to spread ashes on the field.
An earlier version of this story gave Christopher Noteboom's age as 33. He is 44, police say.

The Broncos have always had a good passing game though. We in fact had two 1,000 recievers before. I think it could be the difference in getting us to win the SB. Right now I'm thinking we will get beaten like 56-20 again to Indy in the AFC Championship game. Even if we have the second best team.
In any case though I think Dallas might be the best fit for TO.

But TO doesn't want a team with a passing game, he want a teamt hat going to throw him ball on just about every down while kissing his ass for every catch he makes.
I think the Broncos could beat Indy, in fact should it come down tot hose two teams I certainly hope the Broncos win.

I really hope so too. After all the disappoint over the past few years I would love this year to be the one. I'm just not sure Indy can be beaten. Most years I think this Broncos team would be good enough to win the SB.

Indy tends to crumble when playoff time comse, granted htis year they look better then ever, but last year they had an unstoppable offense that scored 3 points.
I think Indy cand be beaten, until they show they can actually win in the postseason I will remain skeptical...though their record gives them home field advantage and that will really help them alot. Indy in the playoffs on the road is just never been all that pretty.
