He's gotta return for the Pack to be competitive next year. Hoepfully if we can add Arrington or Woodson, Favre will return for another year and put the Pack right back in the hunt in the rather weak NFC North.

He should retire. He has nothing left to prove. He's won a couple of Super Bowls and is a sure bet for the hall of fame. Besides, the Packers are probably not going to be very competitive next year. There's a chance they could make the playoffs, but nothing past the Wild Card.
He will probably play one more year though.

I kind of like Favre pushing Thompson to do something right now. The Pack have all the salary cap room in the world and have done very little this offseason. If T.T. can sign either Woodson or Arrington then expect to see Favre back with them.

Favre should travel back in time and retire two years ago. He's one of the most overrated quarterbacks ever. Yes, he has a marvellous throwing arm and he throws spectacular Touchdowns, but for every great throw comes a brainless interception. It is a wonder to me that a quarterback who throws that many passes up for grabs is hailed as a genious.

Marino had 18 seasons with more TDs than INTs. In 14 Seasons Favre threw more INTs than TDs three times. He even managed to throw 3 interceptions more than Marino while playing 17 games less.

I want Brett to break Marino's TD record and then retire after the season.
Only player to win mvp 3 times.
Super Bowl champ.
Played every single game with teh packers for 16 straight years.
Fun and good guy to watch play.

No, not rumors. One crackpot Seattle writer. Brett has already said he won't play anywhere but Green Bay, and there is no way in hell he'll return to be a backup.
