Kind of dumb that it's legal to not pay Ohtani until 10 years from now so they could afford another 300 million contract for his boy Yamamato.

It has nothing to do with legality I feel, it's all Ohtani choosing to take a pay cut for the betterment of the team, happens in all sports and something fans basically clamor for all their stars would do.

Fun back and forth Royals/Yankees game 1. Judge makes A Rod look like a clutch god.

Royals got hosed by the umps in game one and Stanton came up huge for the Bankees in game 3 so on they go

Stanton getting it going was the turning point with Judge and Witt cancelling out.

For sure as the Royals had all the momentum that game

Yankees Guardians game 3 was some classic stuff

It was classic, but unfortunately the Yankees went on to win game 4 which pretty much locked up the series for them. I do think a Dodgers vs Yankees title series will be great for Baseball. LA and New York are both big baseball towns and they have the two biggest players in baseball

I suppose they were good games, but that series was very hard to watch as a Guards fan. Usually I can just blame the difference in pay roll for the result of the series, not this time. No amount of Steinbrenner money could buy Cantillo's wild pitches, Rocchio's errors, Clase's meltdown and Voght's refusal to walk Stanton. They easily could have won that series if they just played like they had all season.

Dodgers in 5 or 6.
