 The Snooker Thread
I know it's a totally non-American thing, but I thought I'd see if anybody likes it.

Both, but I only watch. Can't play for shit. But I'm good at pool.

 Re: The Snooker Thread
So Ronnie just won the Shanghai Masters for the second year running. Beat Kyren Wilson in the final. Cannot wait for him to meet Williams this season. Hope it happens in one of the tournament finals. Both are in-form.

 Re: The Snooker Thread
Trump is world champion. His first time winning it. He probably had one of the easiest runs to the final, but he still played well and still had to win all those frames and matches to get there. You can only beat who's in front of you. I'd have liked Higgins to win a fifth world title but he's just not as great as he was. Still great enough to reach the final. But the snooker scene (besides Trump and Kyren) doesn't look that good in terms of new talent coming through. It's still mainly the old dudes dominating the circuit. Higgins, Ronnie, Williams, and Bingham, and then the slightly younger ones like Murphy, Allen, Carter, and Robertson, and only Trump and Kyren really shining as younger talent (in their 20s). Sure, Gilbert and Wilson did well at this world championship, but they're in their 30s and blooming late (or more likely just having a fluke run of good form).
