This girl was created before this season so it can't be for Heisman votes. It's very strange. USA Today had four articles about it. Deadspin feels 80% certain he was in on it. I think that way too. It just went on too long and especially after he "learned" she probably wasn't dead he still on about it as if she were dead. Also, this would be quite elaborate to be making up a girlfriend just to cover up his orientation. None of it makes sense.

Well if he comes out everybody will forgive him for all this. How does it affect his draft position though? He was already in free fall after Alabama's O line had their way with him. They really stuck it to him.

And just like that I can see why he'd want to cover it up.
