 Re: 2010-2011 College Basketball Thread
I loved UConn's performance in the Big East Tourney. Walker is an amazing player. Not sure how far they can go in the tourney. I don't think fatigue will be a problem, as they will play a 15 or 14 seed who they should beat and they can get into the Sweet 16 at least, after that who knows. I think this things is wide open this year. a lower seed team could win it.

Nah, there's no lower seeds that are that good. A few could make a run, but you won't see any double digit seeds make it out of the elite 8, and only a select few have a chance to make it that far.
Then again, I suppose this depends what you define as a low seed. I always think 10+.

Michigan got a very surprising 8 seed! Huzzah!

 Re: 2010-2011 College Basketball Thread
6+ is probably a fair definition of "lower seed."
Still don't believe any have a chance to make it out of the Elite 8, even with the revised definition!

Both Utah State and Belmont are way better than their seedings suggest, according to the most objective ranking that I believe, Ken Pomeroy's efficiency ranking, so I definitely could see them making a noise. The region isn't that tough either, as Pitts got a really good draw.

 Re: 2010-2011 College Basketball Thread
I thought the Kentucky coach crying at time like this in the world was extremely embarassing. Maybe if his dad just died and he won that game but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case.
