 UFC 118
Anyone care about UFC? I enjoy it a lot and here are my picks for UFC 118
Lightweight Championship: Edgar v. Penn
Heavyweight: Toney v. Couture ( I think Couture wins within 1 minute of the first round)
Middleweight: Maia v. Miranda
Lightweight: Florian v. Maynard (Only picked Florian because I like him. Dislike lightweights in general because they never knock eachother out)
Welterweight: Davis v. Diaz

 Re: UFC 118
I was into UFC until Silva pulled off that John Cena style victory against Sonnen. He gets his ass kicked for 4.5 rounds then locks in the STFU (or triangle in this case) at the last moment for the tap out? I'm calling shenanigans.

I can never seem to keep up to date on the acronym they use for this sport: WWF, WWE, UFC - - what's next?!?

 Re: UFC 118
Edgar is a good friend of mine, we grew up together in Jersey, almost went to Boston with him for the fight. He kicked serious ass last night. Couture was just a shit show.

You do realize UFC and WWE/WWF are completely different things? Well it could sort of be argued that Dana White probably thrw some money into Toney's direction to sway him to lose badly. Granted he would have lost anyway, I just find it little puzzling that he didnt even get in shape for the fight at all. He was around 235 lbs(not in muscles) and usually he boxes between 175-210

He wasn't a very good boxer in the first place.

 Re: UFC 118
There hasn't been a good heavyweight boxer in a LONG time. Most of his fights were toss ups. The media made him out to be this "super" boxer going into the UFC, when he was really just one of the best of a bunch of garbage boxers.
