Post Jim's Heisman Rankings Week 10
Yes that is correct, I will now be putting up a top 10 Heisman Power Ranking each week for everyone to argue over. And no Noel Devine will not be showing up on this list excel.

WEEK 8

1. Colt McCoy - Texas - QB
He's on the #1 team with wins against Oklahoma and Missouri. Not only that, he has an 81.2% completion percentage, highest in the nation, and he has nearly 1,900 yards passing, 19 touchdown passes and 6 rushing touchdowns compared to only 3 interceptions. My not have the jaw dropping stats that Bradford has but guess what, he beat Bradford.

2. Sam Bradford - Oklahoma - QB
The race isn't decided yet. It only takes one game for things to shake up. Even in a loss Bradford still put up monster stats against Texas. So far this season he has thrown for 2,520 yards with 26 touchdowns against 5 interceptions. He's still in the hunt.

3. Graham Harrell - Texas Tech - QB
Yeah he's probably a system QB but even TT quarterbacks haven't looked this good. He's led them to a 7-0 start, has thrown 2,761 and 23 touchdowns. It'll be tough for him to get the respect he deserves though since most will consider it the offense and not Graham putting up the stats.

4. Tim Tebow - Florida - QB
Finally showed up back up after starting off really slowly. Still doesn't have eye popping numbers, 1,235 yards passing with 10 touchdowns and 1 pick & 179 yards rushing with 3 TD's, but it is hard not to put the defending champ on the list. He should start to build up steam heading into the back end of the schedule.

5. Daryll Clark - Penn State - QB
I'm just as surprised as you. But this kid can play. He's a dual threat with 1,531 yards passing and 190 yards rushing. He almost seems like he is more comfortable in the pocket. He has a combined 19 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. If Penn State can keep it up, so can he.

6. Michael Crabtree - Texas Tech - QB
Didn't think he'd have as good of year this year compared to last but he basically is. Already has 724 yards receiving with 12 TD's. He's also averaging 14.2 yards a catch. He's on pace for 21 touchdowns, one less then last year. Wideouts usually don't get the Heisman though. Just ask Calvin Johnson.

7. Knowshon Moreno - Georiga - QB
The kid is the best running back in the nation. Problem is he seems to be having trouble with his health this year. He's averaging 6 yards a carry and has 762 yards rushing with 11 TD's. He's on pace for 19 TD's for the year. Not too shabby. The Georgia offense revolves around him and he can make plays that I haven't seen since Barry Sanders.

8. Chase Daniels - Missouri - QB
My how the mighty have fallen. Two weeks ago I had this kid as #1, after being on the receiving end of two ass kickings, it's hard to like him as much. He still has sick stats, 2373 yards passing with 18 touchdowns. Put he threw those stats up against a bunch of pee-wee teams. In his two losses he has looked awful, throwing 4 out of his 5 interceptions.

9. David Johnson - Tulsa - QB
Yeah he'll never actually get a real shot playing for a team like Tulsa but when you've thrown for 2,397 yards and 31 touchdowns, it is hard to keep you off the list.

10. Dez Bryant - Oklahoma State - WR
809 yards of receiving with 11 touchdowns. He's obviously the #2 WR in the nation and playing on a very good Oklahoma State team. He had a 212 yards receiving and 2 TD performance last week against Baylor to put him on the list.

Just Missing The Cut
Mark Sanchez - USC - QB
Shonn Green - Iowa - RB
Javon Ringer - Michigan State - RB

Colt McCoy does have a win against Bradford but it was a team win. Technically, Bradford easily won the battle of the QBs that day, but he does deserve to be at the top.

Bradford is just amazing because he's still throwing 3-4 touchdowns against highly rated foes. He's a clear #2.

Graham Harrell is to high even at this stage. His stats have come against the weakest of foes and unless TT goes undefeated he has no chance.

Chase Daniel already has 2 losses so far and I think his chances of being invited are almost zero at this point.

I like Crabtree and Dez Bryant but again unless their teams go undefeated I don't think they'll be getting an invite.

The Tulsa QB is a wild card since his team has a somewhat easy road to being undefeated and if that offense keeps dropping such stats I think he could get an invite just because his stats will be to amazing. Of course, his team has to go undefeated.

The 4 I see being invited would be McCoy, Bradford, Tebow and Clark with the reason being that I see all of them benefitting from their teams performance during the year. Assuming Texas and Penn State go undefeated and OU & Florida finish the season strong, these 4 most likely will go to the Heisman ceremony.

Although Tebow isn't producing nearly the same numbers that he was last year, he's still one of the top 5 players in the country. But because he performed so well last year I seriously doubt he'll win the Heisman unless the other QB's have nightmarish endings to the season.

WEEK 10

1. Sam Bradford - Oklahoma - QB (+1)
With the loss, Bradford jumps back up to #1. He has over 3,000 yards passing and 34 touchdowns. He went over 300 yards and had 5 TD's against Nebraska this week.

2. Graham Harrell - Texas Tech - QB (+1)
Helped lead his team to victory beating Texas. Threw for 474 yards and 2 against Texas and has thrown for over 3,612 yards and 30 touchdowns for the season. He's breaking the Texas Tech system QB mold.

3. Colt McCoy - Texas - QB (-2)
Really wasn't his fault that they lost. Threw for 292 and 2 TD's but also threw a pick. His completion % dropped below 80% for the first time of the season.

4. Dez Bryant - Oklahoma State - WR (+6)
Never thought I'd have a WR ahead of Michael Crabtree, but it has happened. Passed the 1,000 yard mark this past game and now has 15 touchdowns. Had 4 this week against Iowa State.

5. Michael Crabtree - Texas Tech - WR (+1)
Came up huge against Texas pulling in the game winning grab. Now has 921 yards with 15 touchdowns. On pace to not match the same stats as his freshman year but come on, he's doing great.

6. Tim Tebow - Florida - QB (-2)
Talk about just dismantling Georgia. Had 5 total touchdowns against Georgia and now has 29 total TD's for the season. I don't see him going back to back Heismans though.

7. Kendall Hunter - Oklahoma State - RB (N/A)
Could be the best running back in the nation right now. He's averaging over 6.7 yards a carry and has over 1,200 yards this season. People are comparing him to Barry Sanders, I don't know about that yet.

8. Shonn Green - Iowa - RB (N/A)
Sure he has less yards then Ringer and Brown but Green is averaging over 6.0 yards a carry and had a huge 200+ yard day against Wisconsin last week. The kid looks like he can run the ball.

9. Zac Robinson - Oklahoma State - QB (N/A)
Currently the second highest rated QB in the nation. Has over 2,000 yards passing with 25 total TD's. It helps that he has so many weapons around him.

10. Chase Daniels - Missouri - QB (-2)
Continues to fall down the list after another average performance. Threw 2 picks against Baylor, FUCKING BAYLOR, I MEAN SERIOUSLY?

Dropping Out
Daryll Clark, Knowshon Moreno, David Johnson

Just Missing the Cut
Mark Sanchez - USC - QB
Javon Ringer - MSU - RB
Daryll Clark - PSU - QB
