According to Variety, Samuel Goldwyn Films' has picked up U.S. theatrical rights to William Dear's Free Style starring High School Musical's Corbin Bleu. Fox Home Entertainment got home video rights from Rigel Entertainment.

Heart-throb Blue plays a motocross racer vying for a spot on the Grand National team. It costars Penelope Ann Miller and telenovela star Sandra Echeverria. Hollywood Records will target a soundtrack to tweeners featuring tracks from the Jonas Brothers, Nickelback and a new song from Bleu called Moments.

Goldwyn says it plans an aggressive release on a minimum of 500 screens in February 2009.
