Frank Borin to direct "The Butcherhouse Chronicles" for Platinum Dunes

According to Variety, Paramount has tapped Frank Borin to direct the feature adaptation of The Butcherhouse Chronicles for Platinum Dunes.

The Butcherhouse Chronicles, penned by Michael Hidalgo, is a darkly comic horror stage show about four high school students out to discover the truth behind a mysterious old property known as the Butcherhouse. It premiered in New York in 2006.

Borin has been attached to direct Lionsgate's Kidnapped. He's also directed music videos for Good Charlotte and Breaking Benjamin.

No start date has been determined for The Butcherhouse Chronicles.
