Quote:
Final Destination Bloodlines is a 2025 American supernatural horror film directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein and written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, based on a story developed by them and Jon Watts. It is the sixth installment in the Final Destination film series following Final Destination 5 (2011). The film stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana as a college student who inherits her grandmother's sudden premonition about death and tries to save her entire family after they start dying one by one. Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd appear in supporting roles.

Post Re: Final Destination Bloodlines
Reminded me of Scream 6, where they begin with a mission statement "oh ho ho, this one is gonna be different than the others!" and then it just slowly morphs back into what we've come to expect from the franchise. Generation trauma isn't exactly uncommon in the horror game these days (in fact, we've already had a Stephen Kinged up version of Final Destination this year with The Monkey), but it is well implemented here. The family are mostly very likeable and you're never cheering for anyone to die.

The ending ... ehhh

Spoiler: show
If you're gonna do that then you absolutely have to kill Tony Todd on a beach somewhere either right after or during the credits. Not doing so showed a lack of balls, another thing it has in common with Scream 6.

You can tell they had a bigger budget with this one. The opening premonition is a riot. My favorite since the highway scene in 2.

I'd give the first half a 9, the second a 7, balanced out to a solid 8/10 for Final Destination 6.

I had a blast with this. The opening sequence is great and the kills are fun and inventive. B+

This was my most-anticipated of the summer. It was good, but didn't live up to expectations for me. I'm happy to have the series back and I'm thrilled it's a big hit. Hopefully the next in the series is better.

Meh. I've always found the Final Destination series to be a repetitive bore, honestly, and this one is sadly no different.

There are never really any stakes as everyone is just doomed, and that's that. I also don't particularly enjoy watching people get mutilated solely for the purpose of over-the-top gore, so I simply find these films to be a pointless waste of time.

It'd be nice if they all didn't end the same way, too, but I guess it's easy to just go with the copy/paste "twist" that nobody managed to avoid death at all right before they become some bloody smear on the pavement as a result of some other random disaster. *Yawn* What a surprise...

Tony Todd's farewell scene was a nice goodbye, though.
