Unfortunately quite dreadful. I felt the first film had an edge and was a refreshing watch. This doesn't have that, the attempt is there by applying a similar tone, but the whole plot and the developments are just bad. The mystery is never there, I was hoping for some interesting twists to come along, but the best it musters is the stuff daytime dramas are made off. The first half of the film is still kind of ok, but then it gets worse from there and ends up being overlong. I guess the only good thing about it is the Italy setting it takes place, idyllic. Unfortunately it's just another throw away streaming release failure.

It's kinda entertaining thanks to Anna and Blake, but yeah this one just isn't very good. Felt kinda like an Adam Sandler netflix project where its more of an excuse for these people to get paid to go on vacation than it is a real movie. White Lotus syndrome, but without the finger pointing. The biggest disappoint, aside from the story, is that Anna and Blake don't have a steamy makeout scene. The movie lacks the sex appeal of the first and it doesn't seem like they even care. You had one job to do!

5/10
