This is an interesting film, like some things about it, but mostly in it's execution it's too unsatisfying. It mixes in elements of different films and genres and in the end just never reaches it's potential. The cast is nice, but the script is too weak to give them much to work with, and the film is trying to go so out there with its camera angles that it doesn't fit. Sound is pretty average too unfortunately, and while I appreciate how it seems to try make something epic, it feels smug at the same time.
I did enjoy how the series Friends has a presence in this, but Bacon and his character unfortunately hardly add anything and the sum of everything is just not quite it.
