Re: A Simple Twist of Fate
This is quite a lovely film, typically 90s, but different from what one might expect of a Steve Martin film. He's not even got white hair! It's more of a drama, not comedic at all. It's got a nice cast. Gabriel Byrne, Catherine O'Hara (the mum from Home Alone), Laura Linney, Stephen Baldwin, and an early uncredited part for Anne Heche. It's not aiming to be a Kramer vs. Kramer or Sophie's Choice, but it is a sweet film with a nice conclusion. It wouldn't be out of place in a 2-for-1 with The War.
