The film stars Nicolas Cage as a fictionalized version of himself, along with a supporting cast that includes Pedro Pascal, Sharon Horgan, Ike Barinholtz, Alessandra Mastronardi, Jacob Scipio, Neil Patrick Harris, and Tiffany Haddish.
The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 12, 2022, and was released in the United States on April 22, 2022, by Lionsgate.

Re: The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent Definitely one of a kind. Cage and Pascal are both great in this hyper-meta comedy. A movie about making a movie. I do kind of wish it got a little crazier at the end, but that's just the unbearable weight of massive expectations.
