 Zola
Quote: Zola (stylized as @zola) is a 2020 American biographical comedy-drama film directed by Janicza Bravo, from a screenplay by Bravo and Jeremy O. Harris. It is based on a viral Twitter thread by Aziah "Zola" King and the resulting Rolling Stone article "Zola Tells All: The Real Story Behind the Greatest Stripper Saga Ever Tweeted" by David Kushner. It stars Taylour Paige, Riley Keough, Nicholas Braun, Ari'el Stachel, Colman Domingo and Ts Madison.
The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 24, 2020, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 30, 2021, by A24.

 Re: Zola
Saw it tonight. Enjoyed it a lot. Taylour Paige and Riley Keough are great in it. I thought Keough was very funny. I didn't really know anything about the story going into it other than what the trailer shows so I wasn't sure where it was heading. My only complaint is the anticlimactic ending. It just kind of ends. I assume many will not be thrilled with that. It's certainly not enough to ruin it for me but does knock it down a notch.
I think I'd go with a B+.

 Re: Zola
In a just world Riley Keough would get a Best Supporting Actress nomination. Her and her character are fucking iconic.

 Re: Zola
The scene where it shifts to her perspective is laugh out loud hilarious.
