The brutality in the movie is done really well but the end results wastes what comes before the movie in making it a crime drama instead of the title. The middle half is also too slow because the director is unable to pull emotions out of this situation and the actors are not strong enough here. The twist in the finale was good but again not handled properly trying to patch things with useless side arcs which really does not work. The first third of the movie where it is setting up is really strong and some parts of the finale are good but the movie needed more polish to work well.

I'm pretty much with Jack Sparrow on this one. The brutal moments of violence are handled well and the story itself was holding my attention for the most part atleast in the beginning, but this movie was just way too long and slow/boring at times and it doesn't help that the acting isn't great either.
