I was throughly entertained by this horror comedy. It's another one of those modern films that is very much inspired by Sam Raimi's Evil Dead except without the dynamic camera work, but between the strong dual performance given by Ben O' Toole as the lead, the frenetic pace and a plentiful amount of gory carnage its just a hard film not to like and I do see most horror fans enjoying it. I esepecially love how it ended with the final confrontation with the family being very satisfying IMO.

This was great and very nicely made thriller. If only the movie took more time to only maintain tension throughout and did not have the introduction (that does not serve the movie overall) this would have had more time for a detailed finale and would have turned into classic. Ben O' Toole is great in here, be it comedy or gore he carries the movie very well. Even without the focus this is a very well paced movie and great gore. I also liked how they handled PTSD here, the personification helps to keep the fun and tension throughout. I loved the finale but wished it would have been longer specially the killing of mother and the reason for change.
