Timely, heartfelt and brilliant! Superbly acted, directed on a script that is sometimes too manipulative and saccharine but overall allows manages to bring the complexity and inner strengths of its character. Talk about what #MeToo movement started and this is the best movie about that subject matter since. It does not need display the misery of its character to bring out the emotional torcher it puts on a woman/mother. Clare Dunne was decent in this and this is the only slight complain because I never felt the acting moving or powerful, she does well with her script. Talking about script I found it in the middle half to be too easy building a house (because its not) and too many side characters are added just because script wanted them to be, their bond is also not explored enough. Having said that the court case was handled really nicely and I felt the conflict was natural and both sides were correct in some sense.
