Gemma Artenton carries this movie and I have never seen her as good as this. The movie around her is just okay and even with a great supporting cast it never fully becomes emotional or deep. Arternton's relationship with the boy and Gugu are done nicely but I didn't find the whole Summerland part dull. The movie is also too saccharine while never being emotionally manipulative and I wished that Gugu's character hadn't returned to give the movie a better emotional depth.
