Paul Rudd is great in this but it wastes the talented cast into a stale ideas over generic execution failing to make an impact. I have no idea what this movie was trying to achieve, its not gritty, nor tense or even emotional. The actual history could be fascinating but we hardly spend enough time with Mark Strong's character to really understand his motives. Plus the love story with Miller and Rudd is so undercooked you cannot get behind those two. The finale also lacks any tension and/or thrills and the whole ordeal feels shouldn't have been done in the first then we learn that Moe Berg got accolades for doing nothing, no offense but the movie really never brings out good traits about the character.
