I liked that it did not go by the numbers being a biopic and has great acting from Johnny Flynn but you end up knowing about Bowie's outer appearance than his personality which is why this fails. Jena Malone and Marc Maron do well but both of them are wasted in here, instead of focusing on the central character we get multiple roles in this overlong movie with some recurring characters without developing Bowie's character or get a sense of his journey. There is a good story in here but it needed better handling and tighter script.
