Another adaptation that gets overhauled by on screen beauty thanks to Disney but comes out hollow in terms of narration. Its really pretty to look at, harmless and fun for kids movie but its also super bland, has no emotional stakes and human actors are mere caricatures of characters because there is just not enough time for a single character to breathe (and that includes Mackenzie Foy). Kate Winslet was a great choice as the voice of Beauty and even though she is pretty much recognizable her voice is calming enough to carry the movie.
