Its a timely topic but its not handled very well. I do not mind the perspective they were going for i.e. position of a police officer trapped with all this hatred but it ends up doing nothing with the premise. The movie fails to bring a fresh perspective of the hate the law force is getting (or would get in this scenario) nor does it come out as an apology for the repeated racial cruelty.
