Re: The Place of No Words
A superbly hypnotic fantasy world through the eyes of a child trying to deal with family tragedy and exploring the question of morality. Its superbly acted and emotional in the end thanks to Teresa Palmer's small but endearing role. The adventures in the imaginary world are done nicely and it connects nicely to the read world events in the end. Mark Webber does a tremendous job both on screen and behind the screen as writer and director. Bodhi Palmer is equally great in this and I would like to see him do more roles outside of the family comfort. Aside from acting the story at times gets a little repetitive and side stories don't add up enough to Bodhi's growth, a lot of it also feels staged at times. The movie also fails to generate emotions specially towards Bodhi's loss which I felt was the core of the movie.
