The plot follows a 20-something art gallery assistant in New York City who gets dumped by her latest boyfriend and creates a pop-up space for the items of previous relationships.

The film was theatrically released in the United States on September 11, 2020, to generally positive reviews from critics.

Great performances, writing and settings in this film are brought down by generic direction and an ending that fails to generate many emotions. For a movie that has so much to talk about Broken Hearts it never goes deep in the trauma of losing someone but instead keeps on pushing one-liners after one-liners to cover its time. The leads specially Geraldine are really good here and their easy chemistry lights up this movie. There are also at times too many sub-plots and the actual Broken Hearts Gallery till the end comes out as a side story in its own movie.
