 Re: The Babysitter: Killer Queen
I thought the first was a blast. This was..... ok. Kind of didn't like it for a while. A lot of the humor was landing flat (there are some pop culture references that are so lazily thrown in it's cringey) and it looks and feels much cheaper than the first. The cinematography is kind of ugly. The budget was definitely not as high as the first and it shows. I was ultimately entertained though and the whole finale was pretty good.
Even though this was a pretty big step down from the first I'd still watch a third.

 Re: The Babysitter: Killer Queen
Nowhere near as good as the first one, but I was still entertained by it. They really went over the top with the humor in this though, especially with Andrew Bachelor and Bella Thorne. A lot of it was cringey too and really stupid, but I feel bad that it did make me laugh at times. It's a shame that they didn't more with Samara Weaving coming back either, because I liked her scenes the most and for the brief time that she's in it she definitely makes the best of it. It did feel cheaper than the first movie though and the kills/gore looked very CGI enhanced which is always a bummer IMO.

I thought it was fun although overlong. Definitely wish Samara Weaving was in it more as I found Emily Alyn Lynd rather bad as the main villain. But an enjoyable watch for sure. B

 Re: The Babysitter: Killer Queen
Entertaining yet long and gets stuck in the genre cliches specially towards the middle half. It does a good job at tying the loose ends from first movie but then again the alive characters do not get any growth here. Agree with cory that the new villain didn't do much here.
