Charming, delightful screenplay with so much heart that you could not help but fall in love with the characters. I generally don't like Dev Patel but his zanny energy as the titular David Copperfield,
brings so much depth that for this first time I felt he elevates a movie. The supporting cast is what makes this movie, almost everyone is on their A game here. There are so many hard/heartfelt topics those are told in a fun and energetic way that's innovative and refreshing. Very impressed with Armando Iannucci's work here, he brings so much heart to this well known Dickens' adaptation.

Love Veep, In the Loop and Death of Stalin but this didn’t work for me. It’s a quality production with some funny moments, but also very boring and hard to understand the accents of the actors.
