https://horrorbuzz.com/2020/07/31/she-d ... f-nothing/I thought this was a complete misfire. The poster says "a gripping apocalyptic thriller" and if you go in expecting that prepare yourself for a world of disappointment. Characters, storylines, and just about every other aspect of narrative is bypassed entirely resulting in quite a naval-gazing affair that seems to think hollow pomposity is endlessly fascinating. I love a good nightmare come to cinematic life or hellish fever dream of freakishness, but this is just dull.

Re: She Dies Tomorrow
This is definitely one of the most bizarre yet fascinating films I have ever seen. Yeah its hollow, but apart from the slow beginning I honestly didn't find it all that dull surprisingly. The concept and the beautifully, striking visuals were enough to hold my attention for the most part and it helps that the performances are pretty solid with Jane Adams giving a particularly strong performance IMO. I also enjoyed the cameos from Josh Lucas and Michelle Rodriguez.

Hehe. It seems we had exactly opposite reactions to Shifter & She Dies Tomorrow I didn't even find this bizarrely fascinating, just a horrible endurance test. Yeah, there were cameos from people that amounted to nothing--just more non-characters rambling about dying tomorrow. I found no strong performances, no "strong" anything except a desire to turn it off!

Re: She Dies Tomorrow
It starts well but disappoints in the final stretch. I really loved the atmosphere and the artsy feel this one had but after the first half it just looses the steam to be anything meaningful or thought provoking. The director does well to handle the small budget and nice to see so many cameos from this well known cast.
