Usually these kind of movies I like and the cast (specially JLD) is terrific. The movie has a great concept but its not executed rightly, the screenplay couldn't handle the emotional arch of these two characters and instead make both of them look like assholes that have to carry on with each other, which could have been good had the finale tried to show some sort of conflict resolution. The one fight in the room when another couple is invited is both funny and touching but other than that it just fails to use the talent of its cast.
