Re: Hell Fest
This was a pretty solid slasher film. My biggest complaint would be the lack of gore, but all the stuff with the amusement park was a lot of fun, and the killer was pretty effective. That ending was especially creepy, and I honestly wish horror films would do more ballsy stuff like that, because I can't remember the last time a horror film actually surprised me with its ending.

Re: Hell Fest
This is a good slasher. It's a novel idea being set at a horror fairground park, and the masked killer is good. I love masked killers (meaning: I'm petrified of them) and appreciate when a new one comes on the scene that is different to the others. Has has a little Michael Myers, a little Cupid killer, and a little Ghostface, but with that ending it's also made his own. The ending to this is cool, but I actually expected (and wanted) for the two final girls to see a guy in a safe place (such as the taxi home) and for the camera to pan down to the person's shoes...then cut. But I guess it ended good enough. I hope there's a sequel. He has tons of masks!

Re: Hell Fest
I enjoyed it a lot. A straightforward, involving slasher with a super-cool setting.
