It's well-photographed and the performances from all the young leads as well as Raul Castillo and Sheila Vand are very natural and believable. But I'd be lying if I said this wasn't a bit of a slog. It feels like it doesn't add up to much at the end as well and has moments of very typical 'indie-film' flourishes. Reminded me a lot of Beasts of The Southern Wild though I personally enjoyed this film more. B-
