Re: The Villainess
A pretty solid Korean action film. Its not on par with something like The Raid movies, but the fight sequences are still very well choreographed and exciting. I just thought the plot was a bit too convoluted at times, because I honestly got lost at certain points, but it all came together nicely towards the end.

The Villainess
Totally bad-ass South Korean action film. Very stylish and bloody and just downright cool. The story is gripping, and even touching, if a little muddle-some to pick up absolutely every detail as I'm reading subtitles and trying to piece together the various plot strands, but I managed it by the end. Kim Ok-bin is superb as Sook-hee (and fucking hot!), and Byung-gil's direction is competent. Capturing erratic action and keeping the pulse through long sequences is not easy. I loved this film.
