Post Re: Personal Shopper
Personal Shopper is the perfect movie for anyone who feels they haven't been seeing enough Kristen Stewart in their movies lately. There is plenty of her on display in this role that's clearly been tailored to perfectly fit her flatline acting style. She gives a great performance. However, I didn't connect with the overall dark-night-of-the-soul story, though I did respect what the director was attempting. This is after all, a horror movie, and Olivier Assayas did manage to craft a truly frightening tone during the brief moments his screenplay demanded it. PS: an intriguing failure. *C*

Stewart is great in it but the script is too slow and the rewards are just not enough even though I loved how they ended this. The movie didn't finish very tidy which is my biggest complain. There are a couple of good horror scenes but nothing really stands out overall other than Stewart here.

6/10.

I understand people not liking it but I found it really intriguing. Stewart was great and I also loved the ending.

8/10 (B+)

I keep thinking about it and the more I do the more I like it.
