This was wonderful. Such a charming, funny and crowdpleasing film. Markees Christmas delivers a fantastic breakout performance as the lead but Craig Robinson is best in show here - he's so soulful and likable here and it's a performance that would have gotten attention in a movie with bigger ambitions. I'd highly recommend this. It's one of the biggest treats of the summer. A-

So stupid they went VOD with this at the same time as theaters (I saw it theatrically). It could have been a WOM hit.

This was ok. It's cool seeing Craig Robinson in a more serious role and the kid is pretty good aswell, but it's so one note IMO. The music/soundtrack is pretty dope though.
