Blown Away
It is a good film, but it wasn't as I remembered it. I remembered it as this great Irish-American bomber movie, but watching it a few days ago really left me wondering why I revered it so much. Tommy Lee Jones is, of course, great in it, but Jeff Bridges just seems out of place and unbelievable as a former Irish citizen, and even though it is two hours, it feels shorter, which isn't a compliment - it feels unfinished, unfortunately. Of the three 1994 bomb movies, this is third behind The Specialist and Speed, but still with a respectable grade...
