The Perfect Guy is an upcoming 2015 American thriller film directed by David M. Rosenthal and written by Alan B. McElroy and Tyger Williams. The film stars Sanaa Lathan, Michael Ealy, and Morris Chestnut. Ealy and Lathan also served as executive producers on the film. The film is scheduled to be released in North America on September 11, 2015.

This starts very well and comes out as a matured drama-thriller in the making in the first half but it settles for generic route in the second half and goes completely off the rails from what it built before. The acting from Michael Ealy is good though Sanaa Lathan and Morris Chestnut are pretty generic in here. If it kept the momentum from first half it could have been a good movie. It also looked very good technically with a decent budget on display.
