Around as...pure and unforgiving a film on the subject of Israeli divorce as I can imagine. It charts the title character's five-year bid to liberate herself from her cold and distant husband. As she is forced to navigate a heavily biased rabbinical justice system, the film never leaves the space of the courtroom. The argument goes in self-defeating and hypocritical circles as the screen reads "two months later," "three months later," etc. A tough and rather dry formal exercise, but an interesting one.
